Demonstrated is the Scan-N-PlanTM technology applied on a polishing application. With the help of open standards it is possible to use any ROS supported robot and camera (e.g. in milestone 3 and 4).
The polishing demonstration which is shown at the Automatica is implemented with the Pilz PSIR robot and the Ensenso 3D camera (both qualified for development fundings from the ROSIN-project). The entire implementation is Open-Source and can be accessed at automatica18_scan_and_plan_demo.
