ROS Summer School - Singapore hosted by ROS-Industrial AP

  • Singapore Polytechnic Singapore (map)

Note this training is being performed in Singapore by trainers from FH Aachen. The course material is different to all the trainings as this is the summer school program that's shortened to 5 days which is delivered in Europe by FH Aachen. There are 3 trainers coming from Aachen to support this training as well as additional support staff by ROS-Industrial Consortium.

This is the first time we are offering a summer school in Singapore in collaboration with FH Aachen.

Due to the way this course is structured, we will provide laptops for the training for use in the challenge. if you wish to bring your own laptop for the lectures to take notes this is possible. However do note that for the challenge there will be about 2-3 participants per laptop and monitor along with a turtlebot3. The challenge is a group exercise.

Prerequisites: Linux/Ubuntu familiarity, C++ experience and a desire to program robots! If you are doing the basic course this can also count towards Linux familiarity!

Basic knowledge in C++ or Python is recommended to complete the practical sessions successfully. Experience with ROS or Linux is not required.
